After hundreds of tests, research, and endless refinements, we've completely revolutionized the traditional gel wrap. We developed a system where the gel is 100% cured before it even touches your nail, so you never have to cure the gel on your natural nail again. That means no heat, no polymerization, no allergies, and no risk of damage.
Adhering based on body temperature
We've also developed a unique, odorless adhesive that cures at body temperature instead of UV radiation, making UV lamps completely obsolete. This innovation ensures that MISSI Gel Covers can be applied safely, quickly, and completely without damage.

the risks of UV lamps
UVA radiation risks
Many nail UV lamps emit UVA light (315–400 nm), a form of radiation known to create DNA-damaging free radicals. This radiation can accelerate collagen breakdown, promote skin aging, and with repeated exposure, increase the risk of skin damage and even carcinogenic effects.
Risk of allergic hypersensitivity
Traditional gels and semi-cured gel wraps often contain incompletely cured acrylics, such as HEMA and isobornyl methacrylate.
When these substances come into contact with the skin, especially around the cuticles, and are subsequently cured under UV, they may remain partially unreacted in the shadow areas of the skin.
These residual monomers can penetrate the skin and trigger a hypersensitivity reaction, which can lead to chronic dermatitis and long-term allergies.
